Short-Term Travel Insurance
This section is for people who are traveling for relatively short periods of time.
Tokyo Marine: This plan will NOT cover a US Citizen or Resident inside the US.
International Travel Insurance
Seven Corners for short-term travel to or from the US. US citizens cannot use this plan for coverage inside the US.
These plans typically use the United Healthcare or Multiplan Networks.
Long-Term Travel Insurance
Cigna Global – Uses the CIGNA PPO Network
This is for people who are ex-pat’s either away from their home country outside the US, and staying in the US or a 3rd country, or for a US Citizen who will be living for an extended period of time mostly or exclusively in a 3rd country. US Citizens can obtain coverage inside the US with this plan if they live mostly as an expat and are only visiting the US on a temporary basis (less than 180 days/year).
Medjet is different than travel insurance. If you have travel insurance and need hospitalization they bring you to the nearest hospital. With Medjet you get transported to the hospital of your choice. Off traveling in Kenya and need a hospital? Medjet will fly you anywhere in the world to the hospital of your choice as long as you are 250 miles from your home.

If I could give William Kohn of Florida Health Agency 10 Stars I gladly would. I spoke to Florida health agency about 2 yrs ago asking about different insurances that I needed at the time. I was shocked at how knowledgeable William Kohn was. I saved his number and knew I would need him someday when I got ready to retire. He told me things that the 3 other agents I had spoken to never told me. For example no one told me there was a Medicare supplement plan G with a high deductible. This plan was exactly perfect for me. He is also very responsive when I have a question. I am so grateful I saved his number from the original phone call. He knows all aspects of insurance and the companies involved with them.

Bill Kohl was the best thing that has happened to our family in a while!I’m taking care of my father who has dementia. My Dad lived abroad and recently I moved him to US to live with me. He’s not Medicare eligible and my work insurance rejected him even though my Dad is my legal dependent.Bill found a perfect health plan for him! He researched doctors who speak my Dad’s native language ( as dementia progresses my Dad starts to forget English) and matched the plan to the provider.Bill also researched available subsidies that my Dad would qualify for!Bill is good hearted human being.
